J. Harold Ellens

J. Harold Ellens (born 16 July 1932) is a psychologist and theologian. He was the founding editor of the Journal of Psychology and Christianity, and was Executive Director of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies International from 1974 to 1989.

Ellens has received multiple educational degrees:[1]

Ellens is also an ordained Christian minister (ordained 24 June 1956), and has maintained a private practice in psychotherapy since 1965.[1] As a psychotherapist, he is licensed in the State of Michigan and is certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors.

Publications

Ellens has published more than 160 professional journal articles, and has served as author, co-author, or editor of 181 books.[1]
